http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – Marc Jacobs has decided to take a trip back in time to his 80s and 90s grunge design roots and remind the youth of what it means to be sexy, cool and have fun. His Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2013 line may have been all about sensuality but his 1982 electropop muse got him going this year, hitting all the right spots for the club kid’s wardrobe. Jacobs debuted his collection during New York Fashion Week where his models sported ethnic layering, check and striped prints, rag-tied heads and plenty of washed out denim. You could certainly see Jacobs’ wacky and quirky side with all the geometric shapes, sexy midriffs, slouchy trunks, flouncy skirts, multi colored bangles and boxy tops, what a combination! So many layers were present you’d think the Marc Jacobs’ girl would be hibernating from winter! Brightly colored scarves were even tied to the models’ waists. Underneath all those layers were perfectly tailored individual pieces and solid t-shirts. Hair and makeup was very minimal, fresh and barefaced with a bit of smoky eyes and messy updos. Jacobs reminds you all what a great time it is to be young, don’t you forget…
