#36 from the Red Wings must be pissed because of the refused goal. Trust me he really loved his wrister. He will most likely never score with a wrist shot from that spot again. It's crazy when you think about it. So many moments, highlights, matches and dreams are decided because of a few centimeters that are very far from the goal line.
Do people actually believe the red wings are a playoff team? We have so many holes it's not even funny our defense is terrible we have 1 goalie who is clearly playing way above what he actually is. I will say Lyon would be a great 2 goalie for us but in no way can he be our lead goalie if we actually want to win and make the playoffs. This team is 2 to 3 years away from competing. Raymond/Seider HAVE to make that next step and we need to spend on a goalie then we can talk about playoffs.
If the Wings miss the playoffs again this year, Yzerman needs to go! I don't understand why Yzerman hasn't gone back to the blue print Bowman and Co. used when he was a player??? You need more natural scorers; better skaters; tougher Defenseman; and better goaltending. Right now, this is the Red Wings philosophy: JUST THROW AS MANU PUCKS AGAINST THE NET, HOPE FOR A FRIENDLY RICOCHET, AND SCORE THE REBOUND. TRY TO OUTSCORE YOUR OPPONENTS EVERY FREAKIN GAME!!!
