We’d like to say we’re backstage at the label’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection for Milan Fashion Week, but the lovely ladies are actually waiting outside. They wear slicked hair, side parts, and dark eye makeup. The others, like model Kate King, are indoors patiently waiting to get their hair and makeup done. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury describes the look for the runway. “They wanted the girls to feel cool, a little bit lived in, rock & roll eye makeup which is very effortless.” Designer Paolo Gdescribes the collection. “What we’ll see today is a combination of femininity and sporty.”
