The Sport of Heart festival was started by Japanese paralympians with the purpose to give every Japanese person the opportunity to enjoy a happy life. A colorful and casual fashion show was held at the event. Musicians like Anna Tsuchiya performed for onlookers.

The new brand Sophila made its debut with its Spring/Summer 2012 collection and a party at Gina Sabaku no Bara. Sophila is the name for flower in Latin. The theme for this collection debut was “Ladies to Be Borderless.” A talk show was held with special guests. Feminine looks were created with chiffon, beads, and pretty prints.

Well-known model and actress Aya Omasa launched her brand Musee de Aya which was a glamorous wedding fashion line. The launch party took place at The Westin Tokyo. Though she only recently turned 20, she put all of her dreams into this line, which came out luxurious, lacy, frilly, and gorgeous with princess veils and ballroom skirts. The wedding gowns were extravagant, to say the least.
