http://youtube.com/FashionTV MIAMI – FashionTV heads to the sunny shores of Miami Beach for Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach Fall 2011, where Haiti’s best designers are honored through a big show for all of their runway collections. The show was a follow-up to last year’s Earthquake Relief Show for Haiti, and meant to change the world’s perception of Haitian designers. Runway collections featured include Les Pericles, Michel Chataigne, Bien Abye by Dayanne Danie, RAX Collection, MeJeanne Couture, and a tribute to designer Murielle Leconte. Live music with a sweet Carribbean flavor is performed by Zenglen, MaWoN, and TPO. In this clip, everything from massive gowns to down-to-there lingerie are showcased. Each piece has its Haitian character and lots of sass. Mimi Pericles from Les Pericles shows off her range in design, with everything from big gowns to high-waist panties, even choosing to unravel an embellishment off one of the colorful gowns her model is showcasing in the show.
