http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK – Chado Ralph Rucci received a standing ovation after his Spring/Summer 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week and we can see why! The audience loved the print caftans, the exaggerated sleeves, the skirt suits, neoprene, and the feathers. A shiny white coat with embellished sleeves modeled by Alyona Subbotina especially caught our eye–this shiny neoprene and latex were used throughout the show. At some points he went work-oriented with the beautiful suits and dresses for the ladies that lunch and at other times, over dramatic for social events–black gowns, wool crepe, glittery shoes, and sequins on a top. Not really sure where the plastic falls in, but it added to the entire effect. And hey, the crowd applauded so it must have been something they loved.
