China Economy: New Year Travel and Spending Top Pre-Covid Levels
Travel and consumer spending in China during the Lunar New Year holiday exceeded levels from before the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, foreign businesses’ direct investment into China last year increased by the lowest amount since the early 1990s.
