http://www.FTV.com/videos MADRID – The Andres Sarda collection for Spring/Summer 2012 at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week was deeply hued in blue. Not the color you would expect to promote luxe lingerie or even beachwear, but Spanish designer Sarda makes it work. His collection was inspired by the beauty of the Mediterranean and old civilizations in Greece, Egypt, and Rome. Bright colors abounded as well as sheer fabrics and some black with nautical stripes for the sea. Yellow and aquamarine also followed suit. Estonian model Carmen Kass opened the show in a midriff baring peasent top with billowing sleeves focusing on a cool blue and white floral pattern.
