http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – You won’t be seeing Ermanno Scervino at Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013-2014 this year! That’s because the designer, along with Alberta Ferretti and Ermenegildo Zegna have been invited to showcase their Fall 2013 collections at Pitti Immagine in Florence this year. At the personal request of the Mayor of Florence himself, the label has been asked to be part of a group that showcases their collections in Florence in an effort to promote the city on an international level. Florence is Ermanno Scervino’s hometown.

The runway at the Palazzo Vecchio was a glass walkway of 40 meters illuminated by projections of frescos by Vasari, with special tributes to the city found in the tailored suits, sweaters, dresses, and jackets. The collection closed with Italian model Eva Riccobono in a lovely silk dress.
