Coke—and Dozens of Others—Pledged to Quit Russia. They’re Still There

After Vladimir Putin’s troops surged over the Ukrainian border in February 2022, the Coca-Cola Co. was among the first companies to pledge it would leave Russia in protest. Two years later, the firm is still operating in the region alongside a host of other brands that promised to make an exit.
