Textured Urbanity by Kehang, New York Fall/Winter 2025-26 | FashionTV | FTV
Take an exclusive glimpse of the Kehang fall/winter 2025-2026 show unveiled at New York Fashion Week! Kehang is a conceptual new label by Chinese-born designer Qihang Guo, who made a striking debut at New York Fashion Week through the Global Fashion Collective showcase. Guo, a Parsons School of Design graduate, drew inspiration from the complex interplay of human emotion and experience within the urban environment, crafting a visually and conceptually compelling collection. The collection explored the push and pull of city life, utilizing diverse textures, sheer fabrics, and face coverings to represent the tension between intimate personal spaces and the external rush. The silicone garments, rendered with natural ripples, folds, and blemishes, blurred the lines between organic and synthetic, mirroring the authentic and artificial pulls of urban living. The strategic use of materials like linen, cotton, organza, leather, and silicone allowed Kehang to present a structurally striking and narrative-driven collection.
