Jeffries supports Schumer’s leadership after “good” convo

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries simply said “yes” when asked if he still support’s Senator Chuck Schumer’s leadership of the #Democratic party after the Senate minority leader led an effort to pass the GOP-backed funding bill to avert a #government shutdown last week. Schumer’s decision to support the bill has drawn a wave of criticism from colleagues and democratic #voters and raised questions about his leadership in the party. Schumer along with 9 other democratic senators voted to pass the 6-month funding bill last Friday.
