Luigi Mangione appears in court for murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO
Luigi Mangione arrived at a New York City court on Friday for the first time since being charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in 2024.
No date for the trial in state court has been set for Mangione at this time.
Mangione faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole if convicted of the state charges. He had previously pleaded not guilty.
