Sen. Padilla labels Trump as a ‘tyrant’ in Senate speech

While addressing the Senate for the first time since being forcibly removed from a press conference with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in Los Angeles last week, Senator Padilla called President Trump as a “tyrant” over his efforts to deploy the National Guard and federal law enforcement personnel to L.A.
“Is that the precedent that we’re okay with setting?” Senator Padilla asked his colleagues on both sides of the aisle.
