Tesla Opens Model 3 Sales To All Of North America

Tesla is taking orders for its Model 3 electric sedans in the U.S. and Canada. Customers have to make a $2,500 deposit up front, which goes toward the overall cost of the car. Previously, would-be Model 3 owners put down a $1,000 “reservation” deposit to secure a place in line.
