Step into the poetic world of Anteprima’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, where fashion whispers the secrets of impermanence, and discover how Izumi Ogino transforms transient moments into timeless elegance at Milan Fashion Week! Creative Director Izumi Ogino, the trailblazing Japanese designer who made history as the first Japanese woman to present at Milan in 1998, shares her inspiration behind the collection. At the heart of the collection, titled “Echoes of Transience”, lies Ogino’s profound inspiration from Japanese contemporary sculptor Takahiro Iwasaki, hailing from Hiroshima, whose intricate installations meditate on impermanence—delicate structures built from everyday materials that evoke the beauty of the overlooked and ephemeral. “Iwasaki’s art taught me to see elegance in imperfection and grace in the overlooked,” Ogino reflects. This philosophy permeates the lineup: trompe-loeil coats mimic fragile scaffolds, breathable mesh knits printed with Iwasaki’s motifs flutter like industrial nets caught in a breeze, and unisex trench bermudas in cotton reinterpret short trenches with layered transparency, harmonizing structure and fluidity. Flowing polo shirts, knit skirts, and reimagined outerwear in soft pastels and neutrals invite wearers to embrace the poetry of the everyday, turning fashion into a canvas for personal narrative.
