Surrender to the fluid allure of Genny’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, where feminine forms bloom like wild orchids! Genny’s S/S 26 show unfolded at the elegant Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan, Italy, under the creative helm of Sara Cavazza Facchini. Titled “Unpredictable Curves”, the presentation wove a narrative of sensual liberation, transforming the runway into a luminous gallery where light refracted through delicate petals, echoing the brand’s orchid emblem and inviting viewers to trace the unpredictable lines of the female silhouette. Cavazza Facchini’s inspiration bloomed from the Phalaenopsis orchid, Genny’s enduring house symbol, viewed against the light to reveal its veiled, luminous veins—a revelation deepened by British artist Marc Quinn’s ethereal orchid sculptures, showcased live on the runway as glowing sentinels. “The orchid’s petals, with their soft, sinuous curves, mirror the multifaceted beauty of women—delicate yet resilient, hidden yet radiant,” Sara Cavazza explained. Sea-inspired waves cascade into edges, collars, and cuffs on sophisticated green gauze shirts; hems of organza dresses and playful harem pants ripple like ocean swells around the ankle; and a singular, all-over floral print intertwines orchids with the iconic blockchain motif across dresses and the reimagined Genny Bag, embroidered in blooming profusion.
