Let’s listen to the “Song of the Winter Siren” created by Malan Breton for the fall/winter 2026-2027 season! Malan Breton transformed the historic Leman Ballroom in Manhattan’s Financial District into a nocturnal theater of Art Deco opulence and razor-sharp glamour during New York Fashion Week. The presentation felt less like a seasonal offering and more like a cinematic moment suspended in time – rich with chiaroscuro, intrigue, and the unmistakable confidence of a designer who knows exactly how to dress the night. The palette anchored everything in drama: inkwell black, bone white, champagne gold, garnet, and smoke silver played against the ballroom’s gilded backdrop, turning every exit into a study in light and shadow. Breton’s Savile Row training shone through in the meticulous tailoring: structured shoulders, fluid lapels, sculpted waists, while the eveningwear carried a sensual, almost liquid ease. Velvet, sequin, satin, and silk moved with purpose; each garment seemed to carry its own spotlight. Malan Breton has dressed Emma Thompson, Priyanka Chopra, Janelle Monae, Minnie Driver, Kylie Minogue, Raye, Brenda Song, and countless others. The recent collection proves once again why: he doesn’t just make clothes – he creates moments that feel cinematic, powerful, and deeply personal.
