New 9/11 documents renew focus on survivors’ health
In the days, weeks and months after 9/11 people living and working in lower Manhattan were told the air was safe to breathe. Now, we know that was not true. In the past 25 years, more people have died from 9/11-related illnesses than died in the attack. 9/11 Health Watch Executive Director Ben Chevat and Iraq War Veteran and Host of the “Independent Americans” podcast Paul Rieckhoff join Katy Tur to discuss the newly-released documents that focus on survivors’ health.
