Now Chipotle is over hyped and overpriced. Went the way of Starbucks.
Once a affordable player in the market, both decided to become premium, and raise their prices as a result.
I used to visit both, but stopped once they went "premium"

surprised they didnt talk about it. the first chipotle was opened inside of a ice cream store. it was only meant to be temp but they got so popular they kept it and the rest is history. i worked for chipotle for about 3 years back in my 20s, fun and fast past but also frustrating if your kitchen team blows.
