I read that the name was from the sound of the process. It's supposed to sound like a kiss. Can't hear the process, just music and the guy talking.

I watched an old video vs a new of Hershey production. Instead of squeezing out little dollops of chocolate, they are now more runny and extruded into kiss shaped molds. I always wondered why they were so perfect on the tips, and the bottoms have a sharp edge Instead of a curve. It's from cooling upside down :0

There is nothing like Hershey’s chocolate bought at Chocolate World. It’s the best tasting and there is a big difference.

Hershey’s chocolate isn’t chocolate. It’s mostly coco butter and coco powder. Its not chocolate in its purist form.

I've picked up at all of the Hershey plants in the country…From the guards that check you in to the loaders and Shipping are all awesome.
Picking up is quick but some of their destinations take forever to unload you cause they have to count every candy bar…..

At 0:58, I don’t think the answer totally adds up; even over a century ago, they had that machine automation to make the candies?
Granted, the representative did use the word “theory,” but I think there’s another separate and more legitimate reason why the candies got their name.

But how did they get that little piece of paper in there? I came to this video because I thought it might actually show them being wrapped. I have a couple of theories and I just wanted to see how was actually done because in my mind I would think those little pieces of paper would fly everywhere.
