I’m a nurse in NYC and occasionally get sweets (we get too much magnolia I’m not impressed with it tbh) these will be on my radar….I was impressed with levain a patient had brought it and happy to see they made the list it . Two bakeries that blew me away not on this list are Maman and Bread.

We used to have a small, local donut bakery in my hometown that had amazing donuts. I believe they were all handmade, too. Then, new ownership came in and ruined the recipe and/or process, making them subpar. They eventually closed shop, long before the pandemic. It's sad how such a wonderful little donut shop fell from grace.

NYC is the pits now since covid! Cuomo and DeBlasio DESTROYED that great city in the way they handled things. A mass exodus has left it in the dust.

Although Magnolia Bakery and Peter Pan Donuts are still in my favorites in NYC! I never been there before! 👍💓💛💚💙💜🍩🍪🎂🍰
