Guy Fieri Eats Hotdogs & “Crazy Meat Concoction” Sauce | Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives | Food Network
Guy Fieri stops by the only place to find authentic Coney Island-style hot dogs in Baltimore: G&A Restaurant, owned by Andy Farantos. Their Coney Island chili sauce — or, as Guy calls it, their ”crazy meat concoction” —combines ground beef with chili powder, celery salt and other secret spices. Andy wastes no time when he lines the hot dogs up on his arm to fill FAST.

Looks like great hot dogs, but the chili looks like pretty nasty.

Great throwback. Those dogs look delicious. I love how in the early days Guy had no boundaries for close talking. Like my personal space's personal space feels violated.

How old is this video. Guy looks 10 years younger and the chef looks like he just quit a glamrock band. But the vid says posted 4 days ago? Video quality also not that great. Safe to say this is a vid from 10-12 years ago?

That’s Cincinnati style chili from another Greek immigrant. The chili restaurants in Cincinnati were founded about the same time by Greek immigrants to the area. We have it over hot dogs with shredded cheese, over spaghetti with onions and/or beans and shredded cheddar, and more.

Remember when ALL the shows were at places like this, actual diners, drive-ins and dives. Back when you would never see a square plate or some kind of sauce dribbled across a plate before a "Medallion" of something was set down then garnished with with organic baby arugula that was gently washed in PH neutral rainwater before being placed using a giant pair of tweezers. Aren't there enough fancy restaurants to hire all of these "Classically" trained chefs. Don't even get me started on using the words "Fusion" or "Baking/Browning off," "Go in with." And whats up with the goofy hair all the tattoos.
