This is a fantastic list but John LeClair's "goal" from the 2000 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals that actually went thru the net from the outside has to be on this list somewhere!

Idk but we have a goal with my team that would fit in this: my teammate once shot the puck and it hit one of my teammates in the head and bounced into the net.

2 incidents that come to mind for me that i feel hold a place on the list are in the 92 – 93 season Kings at Flyers the Spectrum side wall/roof collapses in a blizzard and in 2014 the Kings at Red Wings who score a goal clearly off the protective netting which then hits Jonathan Quick .

Most of these are not bizarre at all. What about the fog game in Buffalo in 1975, that is more bizarre than showing someone scoring on there own goal, which has happened a thousand times in NHL history
