The only purpose for the US to be under lockdown for now is to wait out a suitable vaccine if it actually can come out in time, other than that, with the ballooning numbers of almost 1million active cases, its only a matter of time before the virus gets to everyone over there and its thanks to the one in charge who let it all happened.

These are people that should receive hazard pay. No disrespect to the delivery people but they are in and out of the store. People working in a small town with cases where there is only one store in town it is guaranteed an infected person or someone they have came into contact with has been inside that store.

My last delivery was to a 97 year old woman, whose daughter ordered a list, that I could barely provide due to hording. My car became inoperable about five or ten minutes after because a bearing failed in a wheel. I almost died a normal delivery driver way. It'll cost more than I have to fix, but I regret nothing. It was a great experience knowing she didn't have to go out that night.
i'm sorry but you are an uber driver u r the opposite of essential, it hurts public transport, damages the environment and causes taxi drivers to lose their jobs…………….and i'm sorry general public but like it or not taxi companies are a lot more ethical and safe for everyone and that's why they cost a bit extra. Uber should be illegal and in a lot of places they are.
I work delivering flowers, our goal is to keep people home as much as possible. I got a n95 mask and apply a zero contact delivery policy. All I can do is keep up the good work and pray for this outbreak to end asap.
Gig workers want free hours, choice and hire on the spot and want benefits of full time employees??!!! This is why we can't have nice things 🤦🏼♂️. If you want full time employee benefits, then eeeeuuuuh become a full time employee with set hours and what not. I had a woman screaming at me yesterday because I said there was a limit on paper goods, I saw her trying to take down the limit signs bc if they aren’t up we can’t force people
