It's crazy to think that this earthquake was so powerful that someone credited it as the reason that the Michaelsoft Binbows building is so faded and damaged. It's located in Maebashi, really far from the earthquake site for reference.

I am a Japanese and I was experienced the 3.11 Earth quake. I was still only 5years old. Luckily I was in Yokohama and I didn’t experience the Tsunami, but I will never forget that day. After the earthquake, there was a power outage. My dad was in Tokyo and I didn’t know my dad was alive. Luckily my dad lived, but I can’t forget it. Sometimes when I experience a quite strong earthquake, I will be worried.
Sorry for my bad English…

what’s sad is that this is around graduation/end of the school year, so a lot of students in japan were practicing and rehearsing for their/their senpai’s graduations. i was living in california at the time when i was in the 2rd grade, but my bf who was in the 4th grade living in tokyo said they were in the gymnasium rehearsing for the 6th grader’s graduation. so to think a lot of kids and parents lost their lives before a big event in their school life is just heartbreaking. to think that there were college students who were getting ready to start their careers in april but had their lives taken away, highschool students who were about to get into their dream school, and so much more.

Why was Japan allowed to build a nucleur plant in the first place? The country’s always swarming with earthquakes. Should have been that the iaea should have regulated such countries with risk from building nucleur plant. Now they are emitting polluted water into the ocean like they have the right to

Love from the $#cking same country I talked about
English: Everyone lost their family’s, lives, and more because of this earthquick, When I saw it,I was absoulty scared and the earthquick strikes and after 35 minutes, this sunami happened that was super fast. And then the 3 nuclear plants got destroyed and then starting releasing radiation and a lot of ppl had to evakaute and a whirlpool and the ocean floor and people died on boats and millions of yen in damage and I hope everyone is safe!!!

I’m watching a Netflix series called “The Days” and it’s based on these events. My heart goes out to the entire country of Japan. This was so devastating. I visited Japan only 6 yrs after this and to see the country was such a blessing. The country and the world still mourns. May the lost ones continue to rest in peace 🇯🇵🙏🏾🕊️
