Wasn't southern Vermont hit by other floods in recent memory? How does this impact the housing stock that largely predates 1945? Are there many trailer parks in the path of the flooding? What effect will the flooding have on winter sports areas?

The 7 yrs tribulation of hell on earth will arrive. God's wrath will be severely felt. Many lives will be taken, unsaved. please don't wait.

Lost of (????)L daily as a form of vapor of water from the ground, has a big effect to rise or reduce of temperature by veiling the rays of the sun,and decreasing the earth's radiation…
Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally, earth and atmosphere …
This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)…
This means, the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult…
This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too…
This case means the change in the directions of winds, which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling…

If Vermont didn't steal funds and the extreme taxes put upon the people and actually used it for the infrastructure this would have never been, I have lived in this state all my life and they wait until it's too late to FoX the issue just like this issue as many workers knew of the issues and the state ignored it until something like this happened, just like other towns o lived in and the pipes were not fixed until they burst. With the amount of taxes we pay and little we make this should not be an issue and it's pathetic

Insurance forced upon people but when it comes time to pay they bounce. Then all the misleading information comes in as form of truth? “ climate change is to blame as if the gravity pull doesn’t exist when water melts where is all this water coming from? That flooding has happened in New Zealand once it has never happened in the past where I live when it was back in the 2002 or earlier years we have a lots of new house built so maybe our drain is too small to handle lots of new homes compared with flood in other countries and we use to have not such a bad rain storm in years so,maybe our earth is giving a hint of the global warming has been talking for ages now since I was a child when I was 6 years old back when the 90s is about to end and the 21 century started. P.s keep strong and don’t worry you will be ok if you don’t panic and god bless you.

‘A real escalation’: France protests boil over into violent riots

Published

on

By

French officials are exploring introducing curfews as the country reels from its worst rioting in years after protests over education and the cost of living spiraled into a wave of deadly, country-wide violence that has sparked a blame game at home and threatens to spill over into its European neighbors.

Over the weekend, police fired tear gas into crowds and fought running battles with black-clad, hooded rioters who set fires and broke into shops and government buildings, with images showing historic buildings ablaze.

The mood in the country remained tense on Monday, with Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu asking some cities to impose “partial curfews” to protect people, property and businesses.

CNN’s Melissa Bell reports on the aftermath of the violence and CNN European affairs commentator Dominic Thomas and journalist Cole Stangler discuss the political implications as France moves towards elections next Spring.

Trump’s press secretary fired after 5 days and one briefing

Published

on

By

President Donald Trump has fired Katie Zacharia as press secretary, advisers to the president said, ending her turbulent week-long stint as the White House’s top spokesperson.

Trump told reporters earlier he had asked Zacharia to reconsider her role, all but declaring her brief tenure in the job over. “Honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider,” Trump said he told Zacharia on Friday morning.

It was a remarkable vote of no confidence in Zacharia, who entered the job a week ago. Her shaky debut in the briefing room on Tuesday and persistent questions about her background had led to immense scrutiny from the media and fellow Trump aides.
