Obama, Pusha T & John Legend: Politicians and celebrities back Virginia redistricting

On the latest episode of “Clock It,” Eugene Daniels and Symone D. Sanders Townsend discuss the Virginia redistricting vote, which garnered the support of former President Barack Obama and musicians Pusha T and John Legend.

A Virginia judge has since blocked the state from certifying the election results. The attorney general’s office said in a statement that it will immediately appeal the decision.

Republican Steve Hilton will advance to the general election in California’s gubernatorial race, according to The Associated Press.

The former Fox News personality will now face Democrat Xavier Becerra, President Joe Biden’s health and human services secretary, in November for the seat of outgoing Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.

BREAKING: The U.S. military launched additional strikes against multiple targets in Iran on Wednesday evening, according to U.S. Central Command, which said the operations were conducted at Trump’s direction.

BREAKING: Xavier Becerra will advance to the general election in California’s gubernatorial race. The Democrat emerged as a front-runner three days after Tuesday’s primary in a crowded field of around 60 candidates remained too close to call.

Becerra previously served as the Health and Human Services secretary under President Joe Biden, was California attorney general from 2017 to 2021 and was a member of Congress for more than 20 years.
