While sitting down with Qatar’s emir Tuesday, President Donald Trump called Iran’s regime “rational people.” This comes after Vice President JD Vance told Good Morning America Monday that an agreement aiming to end the war was “digitally” signed by both the U.S. and Iran. Details of the agreement are still unknown, but Joe Scarborough slams the president for his remarks, calling the moment “humiliating” for the U.S. in the face of an empowered and radicalized Iran.

Secret Service officers say they shot and killed a man after he opened fire on them at a security checkpoint outside the White House. During the shooting, a bystander was also struck by gunfire. It remains unclear whether the bystander was struck by the suspect’s initial gunfire or during the subsequent exchange of gunfire.
