Almost all of Russia’s 83 regions are seeing gasoline shortages or reported disruptions to supply, according to a CNN analysis, with many gas stations imposing rationing as the Russian government races to get ahead of a ferocious campaign of Ukrainian drone attacks targeting its refineries.
The fuel crisis, which escalated first in Russian-controlled Crimea and prompted a state of emergency and a full ban on fuel sales to ordinary people on June 21, is now reaching across Russia’s 11 time zones.
CNN’s Clare Sebastian details the frustration at the pump in Russia, and CNN’s Kristie Lu Stout speaks with the head of Chatham House Ukraine Forum, Orysia Lutsevych, about the possible decay of Russia’s energy superpower status.

Three-time US Olympian David Hearn told CNN that police arrested him Friday after he said he touched a flap of blue material partially detached from the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Hearn, who says he has a background in material science, told CNN he checked it out following a bike ride after reading reports of algae in the water and paint or sealant peeling off the bottom.

Until Thursday morning, hundreds of thousands of Haitians were legally living and working in the United States, along with thousands of Syrians. Now, their work permits are set to expire and their deportation protections will be terminated, throwing them in legal limbo.
The abrupt change in fate stems from the Supreme Court decision which found that the Department of Homeland Security had broad discretion in determining when to extend or terminate a form of humanitarian relief known as Temporary Protected Status.

It’s military courts just because these territories are not part of Israel. Those courts function very similarly to state courts. I think you should focus on why the Palestinians are choosing terror instead of peace and the 2 states solution that was offered to them 3 times (1947, 1993, 2008)?

America JUST sent them 54 TONS of humanitarian aid! The point needs to be made that unless ALL the American hostages are released, we will NOT send aid. Period. After all, it is the Americans that have been pushing Israel to prioritize civilian lives in Gaza. As long as Hamas is holding OUR citizens, they shouldn't be getting a darned THING from the U.S. They've gotten too big for their britches, making demands, when their behavior was inexcusable, and they SHOULD be making apologies! Unless hostages, the US ones, at a minimum, are released, US humanitarian aid should IMMEDIATELY cease.

Israel has detained 2,070 Palestinians without charge in administrative detention
Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge, alleging that a person plans to commit a future offence. It has no time limit, and the evidence on which it is based is not disclosed. Israel employs this measure extensively and routinely, and has used it to hold thousands of Palestinians for lengthy periods of time.
Israel now holds 6,704 “security” prisoners, which includes the administrative detainees as well as another 2,321 detainees facing criminal charges, and another 2,313 prisoners who are serving sentences following convictions in the Israeli military courts, according to HaMoked and the IPS.
