CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reports that President Donald Trump banned Politico, CNN and MS NOW from the White House after aide Natalie Harp showed him coverage that infuriated him, catching many advisers by surprise. Major television networks are standing with CNN, declining to replace its crew in the White House television pool after the administration barred it from fulfilling its assigned duties Monday.

52 years after his resignation and 32 years after his death, the Department of Justice is looking into whether President Richard M. Nixon was wronged by federal prosecutors investigating the Watergate scandal. Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV) said Thursday that Nixon was “absolutely couped out of office and was framed.”  Moore also compared Nixon to President Donald Trump, claiming that they were both victims of the “deep state.”

CNN’s “NewsNight” panel debates the news, and former Nixon Library director Tim Naftali speaks with Laura Coates. Also, Jim Antle of the Washington Examiner discusses the “Nixonmaxxing” trend, in which Gen Z lionizes the ex-president.
