Conservative group ‘American College of Pediatrics’ works to oppose LGBTQ rights, abortion access
Lauren Weber of the Washington Post details the investigative report by the Post on a group called the “American College of Pediatrics,” which uses its innocuous and official-sounding name to influence policy on issues like abortion rights and transgender healthcare. Today just 60% of the group has a medical degree. They seek to frame the debate, Weber says, “by presenting their views as medical science when often they are rejected by the medical establishment.”

If I'm a cis straight white male that opposes abortion for convenience, and a pro choicer tells me I have no right to an opinion because I don't have a uterus, does that mean a transgender woman who also doesnt have a uterus, has a right to an opinion on abortion?

Im so proud of this organization; for anyone's info, there are two genders, male and female. To say that gender is a spectrum is pure fantasy and not facts so ninety percent of these doctors and left-wing media are flat-out lying thru their teeth. Thats the truth!

Thank you for covering this, the dangerous psychopaths behind this evil politcal agenda under the false pretense of being legitimate health organizations has been wreaking havoc on the lives of transgender people for too long! Honestly how this absurd, and obvious fraudulent orginization has not yet been shut down is a crime, they are a direct threat to the constitutional rights of transgender people. More people need to realize that conservatives do not help anyone, that they are anti-democracy, anti-society, anti-intellectual terrorists who only want to hurt people that do not fit into their extreme narrow world view. Vote for freedom, vote blue! Protect trans kids, trans rights are human rights!

Why is the U.S. ignoring all the research they have done across european countries which found there is pretty much no benifits of
gender affirming care for minors but in fact found the opposite that it can cause some serious health issues and have now banned it until 18.
I am happy my government has just passed common sense laws to protect kids in schools.
1. Schools banned from letting kids change their gender if their parents say no.
2. Competitive sport ban on kids who want to be called by another pronoun.
3. Teachers must tell parents their child is questioning their gender – even if the child refuses.
4. No new preferred pronouns – he she or they – until parents give consent.
5. Kids and teachers don't have to call another pupil by their preferred pronouns.
6. Heads must consider the mental effects on other kids before approving gender change.
