I come back to this from time to time. He truly needs to show this side of him more in his 2020 campaign. He's not showing it enough, but in my opinion it's the most humanizing thing about him. His compassion and humility that he achieved through tragic circumstances.

Your life is a gift from God. Suicide is never an option for a Christian. Especially when you have a DUTY as a father to your two young sons who just survived a terrible accident and have lost their MOTHER.
You would think of suicide because you have been to the top of the mountain, and you know will never get there again? Wrong, Joe. The "top of the mountain" is NOT found here on earth. It is in HEAVEN with God. Here on earth the children of God suffer and carry our cross for the sake of Truth. You support unlimited abortion and went out of your way to officiate at a same sex "wedding", in staunch public opposition to your supposed Catholic faith and God's immutable law. You will not get to heaven by loving the things of this world and seeking the praise of men more than you love and serve God.
