It's interesting, just on the subject of military spending, that trump and his yes men continuously say Obama and biden gutted military spending while they, in fact, had a higher percentage of the gdp being spent on it than trump has had in any of his first three years. Biden, for increased tech, actually wants to increase it further. I just don't understand the logic here, given there is not much logic coming from trump in general.

If Trump is authorizing this much to the military, just think how much HILLARY would have spent to start WWIII with the Russians?? All US presidents are corrupt, all are in the back pocket of the US military establishment. Tell me I'm wrong…

In my opinion we need cut back about 200 billion dollars and focus on education.
And that leaves us with about 800 billion left to evenly distribute with all branches of the armed forces

    December 29, 2023 at 11:27 pm

More than $1.5 billion a day. Let that sink in.

Just think for 100 billion you could have a half decent health service. America clearly has no idea.

Why can't they change the budget each 5 years or something? Like increasing Nasa's budget 5x for 5 years then swap it to the military and so on with the other things.

After 911 the pre written and agreed upon "project for the new American century" called for drastic increases to military spending. Trump seems to have accomplished this.

I'm pretty sure 1/2 of the US military right now can take on the entire world back in 1940.

    Increase NASA's budget now

  14. @vinmangob8555

    December 29, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Yes, its a must. Usa already has the most of everything and can already take on the whole world at once. Russian only spends 200 billion and can still take out the world, time to grow up. Much better things to spend money on then fucken War.

  15. @Asteroid_Jam

    December 29, 2023 at 11:27 pm

We do not need more money. The military is spending to much on things that could be cheaper. We need to do a restructuring of the military’s budget and check every company of what they are charging and what we get from them.

  24. @LuisGonzalez-px4sj

    December 29, 2023 at 11:27 pm

We don't need to spend on the military we have the best military and navy what we need to spend is public education, jobs, and medical care that's what governments should do.

  25. @admiralaokiji7889

    December 29, 2023 at 11:27 pm

We need to cut military spending not increase it. All these politicians suck at budgeting. Take 10% of the military's budget and put into into so many other areas and our daily lives would be so much better.

  26. @hallow6902
