GOP Attacks Rev. Warnock’s Faith, When They Said Criticism Of Coney Barrett’s Faith Was Off Limits

Published

on

When Amy Coney Barrett was nominated to SCOTUS, Republicans went after anyone raising questions about her ultra-right wing Christian beliefs. But Republicans aren’t bringing the same energy when it comes to defending the Christian faith of Rev. Raphael Warnock. Aired on 12/10/2020.

No one is voting for Warnock for his faith.
They're voting for him for being decent without needing to get his doctrine from a book at all
Because we do separation of Church and State here, schmucks.

✝️ Now GEORGIA SENATE:   More than two dozen black ministers are urging Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock, himself a minister, to abandon his support for abortion. “You have publicly expressed your views that abortion is an exercise of ‘human agency and freedom’ that is fully consistent with your role as a shepherd of God’s people,” stated a letter to the candidate. “We believe these statements represent grave errors of judgment and a lapse in pastoral responsibility, and we entreat you to reconsider them.” ✝️ Rev.  Martin Luther King would never support evil baby killing abortion. Raphael Warnock will not get my conservative vote 🗳

The Bible does not state weather someone should or should not join the military we know Jesus marveled when a Roman centurion (an officer in charge of one hundred soldiers) approached Him. The centurion’s response to Jesus indicated his clear understanding of authority, as well as his faith in Jesus (Matthew 8:5-13). Jesus did not denounce his career. Many centurions mentioned in the New Testament are praised as Christians, God-fearers, and men of good character (Matthew 8:5; 27:54; Mark 15:39-45; Luke 7:2; 23:47; Acts 10:1; 21:32; 28:16). As Believers no matter where your personal walk s with Jesus keep leaning keeping walking in Him

The places and the titles may have changed, but our armed forces should be just as valued as the centurions of the Bible. The position of soldier was highly respected. For example, Paul describes Epaphroditus, a fellow Christian, as a “fellow soldier” (Philippians 2:25). The Bible also uses military terms to describe being strong in the Lord by putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), including the tools of the soldier—helmet, shield, and sword.

Yes, the Bible does address serving in the military, directly and indirectly. The Christian men and women who serve their country with character, dignity, and honor can rest assured that the civic duty they perform is condoned and respected by our sovereign God. Those who honorably serve in the military deserve our respect and gratitude. gotquestion.org

Course any of us who know anything about religion know that it was never about freedom of religion. Unitarians attack the evangelicals, pagans, atheists attack fundamentalists, evangelicals, Pentecostals, and vice versa. How about "judge not lest you be judged." America was originally based on the belief we should only be intolerant of intolerance.

I'm an atheist and even I know that in Matthew 6:24 when it talks about serving two masters, it is talking about money and "God"
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Whatever the russians got when they hacked the dnc+rnc servers must have been quite bad for some republicans if they are still following trump (who has the dirt the russians found), the punishment for what they are hiding must be worse than any punishment for trying to overthrow the results of the election and the rule of law.
Cheating has always been used by conservative governments as a path to victory, they are just not hiding it as much as they used to as they have been getting away with it for so long, you can draw a line from nixon to trump via roger stone, using the same tactics.
They should open investigations into the sedition taking place (that will fail, like most of trumps plans) once President Biden takes power.
