This week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the US will target a complex network built by Iran over years to allow its entities to evade Washington’s wide-ranging sanctions. The move comes after six months of a war launched by the US and Israel that has since reached a stalemate amid a lack of diplomatic resolution.
Other developments in the war this week include the deployment of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and Iran putting a bounty on the president’s son, Barron Trump.

Joint military drills between the United States and South Korea have been cut in half, after President Donald Trump called for their reduction, citing his close relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Based on direction from the President and Secretary of War, the Department has substantially reduced Exercise Ulchi Freedom Shield while continuing training that enhances tactical capability,” a Pentagon official said.

The US missile defense system can perhaps intercept 50% of ICBM from N. Korea but imagine if China fire their hypersonic missiles? It will be impossible for the US to stop any of it (as of now).

At 2:57 Iran is mentioned as similar to N Korea with missile capability not yet big enough to thoroughly penetrate US defense system, but he did say that US defense is not perfect, and there is a possibility of some of their missiles penetrating into the USA. The women described a missile defense system like trying to stop a bullet with a pinhead.
