Mike Johnson is deep rooted in believing as most hard right believe thar the US is a Christian nation. Media I beg you to show these people we aew just the opposite.The First Amendment's Establishment Clause prohibits the government from establishing an official religion.
It also prevents the government from favoring one religion over another.
The Establishment Clause is part of the First Amendment's freedom of religion. The other part is the Free Exercise Clause.
The Establishment Clause states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof".
