Given the high inflation, the use of coupons is more widespread than ever and many people rely on them not only for the purchase of food but also for clothing and much more. The transition to the 8112 digital coupon format is imminent. Qples by Fobi is the only platform able to provide physical / digital coupons anywhere in the world redeemable in real time! This is very valuable for the big CPG brands as they allow them to improve their Roi but above all customer loyalty, which has proven to change brands if the situation is advantageous.
McDonalds, burger King and many other brands could use Qples by fobi coupons to increase customer loyalty, Roi and improve their margins. Given the high inflation that has led to the reduction in consumer purchasing power, CPGs are looking for new ways to attract customers. I think the arrival of digital coupons and the transition to 8112 has been accelerated by all of this. The decline in margins and profits that we are witnessing of many tech companies, once considered leaders, confirm the shift of the consumer in search of better opportunities and bargains offered by coupons.

I'm a very concentrated investor but sometimes there is value in adding a small new position. It isn't for diversification. Focusing on something new provides a productive distraction from overthinking what you already own. It allows you and your portfolio to breathe a little bit

Summers appears to hold on to the Colonial idea that all Nations are supposed to be forced to use the Federal Reserve Note.
The Appearance of a BRICS announcement of their Currency, along with a Latin American Currency, excludes the US from control of World Trade Valuation.
The BRICS Wall now appear to pose something that is similar to the Iron Curtain, as another economic force appears to become a source of Food, Minerals and Fossil Fuel.
The US effort to force European Consumers to buy LNG seems to face opposition and the ability of a more reliable provider group seems to challenge the US ability to maintain a GDP that is adequate to cover the Treasury Notes that have been sold over the last 20 years.
The Colonial Powers now face some new currencies and the ability to force the exchange rate that is keyed to the Federal Reserve Note Value, seems to be skating on thin ice?

I enjoy listening to Larry Summers very direct and honest commentary. I very much agree that the Fed should not telegraph it’s moves but rather operate with strategic ambiguity in order to deflate the inflationary bubble we find ourselves in. We need sound fiscal policy to keep us from the precipice of a repeat of the stagflationary 70s.

Canada Doubles Tariffs on US Steel Products up to 50% | Balance of Power 08/25/2026

Published

on

“Balance of Power: Late Edition” focuses on the intersection of politics and global business. On today’s show, Ontario Premier Doug Ford says Canada should answer US tariffs “tariff for tariff and dollar for dollar,” but urges President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Mark Carney to reach a fair agreement. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) says tariff threats should be used to open markets, lower trade barriers and expand trade—not to keep tariffs high indefinitely. Michael Faulkender, Former Deputy Secretary of the United States Treasury, says Kevin Warsh should reinforce his commitment to bringing inflation back to 2.0%, while arguing that energy-driven price pressures do not justify an interest-rate increase.
