In the aftermath of the resignation of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, sources told CNN they believe Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is damaging the Army’s efforts to adapt to the modern battlefield as he focuses on culture wars and prioritizing his own image of the “American warfighter,” and pushes out leaders who don’t align with his vision.
Multiple sources agreed with the concerns Driscoll raised: that Hegseth is damaging the Army’s efforts to modernize and adapt to the 21st century battlefield environment – where drone warfare is becoming increasingly important – by firing or pushing out leaders who were spearheading those efforts.

It is only a matter of time before terrorists start using this as their primary means to inflict massive civilian casualties. How in the hell is the US government going to protect us from these getting into the wrong hands? How will any government of any nation protect it's people? While I am glad Ukraine is so resourceful to turn a hobbyist toy into a deadly weapon of war in it's fight for survival, I can't help but think that someone dropped the ball in letting these machines be allowed to exist in the first place. They should have saw this coming a mile away.

At 3:04 you can see Ukrainians flying the Balkenkreuz Nazi symbol. Even before the conflict the BBC reported that Ukraine is the global hub of neoNazism with numerous high government officials and oligarchs being members/sympathizers.

First, that guy on 1:44 has really bad Ukrainian. Probably, he never spoke any language, but Russian. Second, all those "drone attacks" are just stupid attempts from ukrainian side to find some substitution and justification in the lack of real successes on the battlefield. Actually, they have no more sense than terrorist attack from Hamas.

It's my hobby back then. During the installation of GPS system I already saw the war aspect of small drone usage. Its quite easy to compile the whole concept. Discarding the GPS we can go for a swamp drone concept with one mother drone operation. Simple to do.

Launch a Harpoon missile from a sea drone, that way the relatively slow moving drone ship is less vulnerable and can be used over again.

Especially for Ukraine, or most countries smaller than the one attacking them, this is a great way to offset the shortage of manpower. Ukraine does not have the soldiers to go against Russia one to one, one drone pilot can launch many drones to a target, often also much more expensive and or even irreplaceable targets.
After the war, Ukraine is going to be a Drone powerhouse.
Drones of all sizes and purposes.
Hopefully it will be a good industry for them, although making weapons is mostly a waste but unfortunately also a need, it might make them a lot of money, which they will need to rebuild their country.
Now Ukranian drones are even using the many recovered Russian anti-tank mines to drop back onto them, great use of Russian and Ukranian equipment.
Russia must pay, Ukraine must win, not too sure if Russia will pay for what it has done after the war, but i know Ukraine will win.
