If at First You DON’T (Constitutionally) SUCCEED, Try TRY AGAIN
According to Mary and Andrew, recent moves by President Trump’s administration have been following a pattern: “If at first you don’t succeed, try try again.” The co-hosts begin by breaking down the flurry of news surrounding mail voting, starting with Monday afternoon’s decision by the Supreme Court to allow President Trump’s executive order curtailing mail voting to proceed, though not issuing a decision on the merits of the order. They discuss that decision in conjunction with the Postal Service’s announcement on Friday for a final rule that would comply with the executive order, a move that Andrew calls a proxy for the government to “have the Postal Service act in a way that has a clearly disproportionate impact on certain voters.”
Then, a conversation about birthright citizenship after a motion was filed yesterday rejecting Trump’s executive orders that attempt to limit the legal principle. Plus, an analysis of the Second and Ninth Circuit Court’s rulings disqualifying U.S. Attorneys that were improperly appointed by Trump and a quick nod to Minnesota suing the governor of Texas for not extraditing an ICE agent accused of shooting a man in Minneapolis.
Tune in next week as we switch to Wednesday morning releases — and video editions of Main Justice available on YouTube.

Claire McCaskill: ‘Walz is exactly what Vance pretends to be’
Claire McCaskill joins #MorningJoe following the debut of the Harris-Walz campaign at Tuesday’s rally in Philadelphia. McCaskill contrasts Walz with JD Vance, stating, “Walz is mac and cheese and a trip to the hardware store. Walz is exactly what JD Vance is pretending to be. He is of the heartland. He is not coastal elite.”
McCaskill predicts a “mic drop moment” in debates, especially on issues like IVF, where Vance voted against protections that helped Walz and his wife have their child Hope.

Donald Trump should be doing everything possible to get himself before the Supreme Court so that he can prove his innocence concerning all charges – then we can put it all behind us and move on.

Ok. ENOUGH! ENOUGH with Andrew Wiessmanns constant repeating himself and seems to be having fun. The guy is on every show and every segments. This is getting dire. Trump is now floating a dictatorship. He needs to feed his freaks that believe him. If Trump isn't stopped and MSNBC doesn't stop giggling, playing fun talk show politics, as well as everyone seems to be having a grand old time like they are in the green room on air. Trump wins and makes it to the election without being jailed, the world as we know it, will be on its final years.

Justice delayed is justice denied! It worked well when Native American Tribes tried to have 300 Treaties upheld in Court. They delayed it for 20 years against the 6 Nation Iroquois Tribes! The Judge simply threw it out. I was a teenager then.

I've never voted GOP, nor would I. However, I need to re-register as a voter, and I'll register as an R to vote in the primary. I'll be voting for Christy as he is the only one running who has the stones to keep pushing back on this whole DJT/MAGA cult and seems to be getting more and better traction within the GOP.
If he were to get the nomination and even win the general election, he would be able to bring in a cabinet that is at least sane.
As a nation, we have many problems that need attention and require solid political discourse and debate. Another DJT administration will be exponentially worse even if the Democrats regain House and Senate control. (I'm a master of the obvious.) Our children will be paying the price for the damage caused since 2016 for generations as it is. The Biden administration has been able to accomplish many good things even with, or maybe because of, all the chaos and noise that the MAGA
crowd continues to generate.
