Ukraine Seeks Faster Patriot Production
Axios defense reporter Colin Demarest says President Donald Trump’s proposal to let Ukraine produce Patriot interceptors faces significant manufacturing, licensing and technology hurdles, making it unlikely to address Kyiv’s immediate air defense needs. He says shortages of advanced interceptors continue to raise broader questions about defense industrial capacity, while Ukraine’s rapid innovation in drones is reshaping how allies think about modern warfare.

Benefits?
It was the democratic majority of the UK voted for sovereignty, independence from a corrupt, anti democratic, unaccountable, declining, protectionist, mafioso organisation run by a bunch of childish, vindictive, self serving, gravy train riding, free loading parasites. Leaving was about self governance, empowering the UK to make its own decisions. It does not set in stone what those decisions must be, it's back in the hands of the UK public and not in the hands of or shackled to Brussels.
The UK now has over 70 trade agreements in place and has signed up to the biggest trade deal since Brexit to join major free trade bloc in Indo-Pacific. The UK has joined the (CPTPP), a vast free trade area of 11 countries spanning the Indo-Pacific. Back with old friends, current friends, new friends and with trusted friends. No silly anthems, a silly flag or the EU political BS, Oh, and the protectionist, declining EU has a trade deal with the UK.

Rubbish. Us Scots do very well shipping whiskey around the world. He needs to be creative, adaptable and flexible in an ever changing market place. There has been massive growth in small UK based local breweries – one near me has gone from strength to strength since Brexit. I want to buy beers made locally to support my local industry – and save the transport emissions. The good news is our own Government can now make it own rules to support UK businesses.

The conservative parties, driven solely by their self-serving agenda and voracious pursuit of power, have shown absolutely no regard for the wellbeing of society. Their callous disregard for those living in relative poverty is nothing short of despicable—while they revel in opulence and abundance, countless individuals struggle to make ends meet, devoid of any hope or support from these heartless politicians. Furthermore, it is under the banner of conservative policies that gun shootings proliferate and innocent lives are lost without a hint of remorse or meaningful action. In their obsession with clinging to outdated ideologies and protecting the interests of the wealthy elite, conservatives perpetuate a never-ending cycle of suffering and inequality. Society's wellbeing? They scoff at such trivialities as they continue to push their selfish agenda unabashedly forward.

Brexit is like a form of slow-motion suicide. Perhaps this is just karma for all those years of empire, greed, and colonial abuse that Britain practiced all over the globe. The Tories ran out of ideas years ago, but the quality of their leaders has really declined in the last decade. We're having something of a similar problem in the US. It stems from the overwhelming influence of big money. Hard to overcome certain problems when the political system and politicians are bought and sold.
