For the spring/summer 2027 show, Diesel transformed its Milan runway into an immersive, high-energy club space for a monumental occasion: Creative Director Glenn Martens’ final collection for the house. Centered around inclusivity, desire, and pure self-expression, the showcase unfolded alongside a provocative 200-performer intervention by Marseille artist collective (LA)HORDE, culminating in an electric crescendo set to a rework of Donna Summer’s “Love to Love You Baby.”

The collection served as a masterclass in disruptive, fluid, and sensual design. Signature trompe-loeil prints deceived the eye with illusions of shearling coats and tweed on lightweight jersey, while merged garments combined blazers, ribbed knits, and tracksuits in single hybrid pieces.

Denim, the heart of the house, was laser-treated to mimic leather, featured dramatically low cutaways, and appeared as micro shorts and pantasocks. Orchid motifs cut through fabrics, body-con cutouts pushed boundaries, and iconic accessories like the new Lock-D bag and orchid body jewellery defined the spectacle. Closing with model Ella Snyder, who opened Martens’ very first Diesel show, the presentation delivered a triumphant full-circle farewell.

Proceeds go to charity. FashionTV heads over to Dolce & Gabbana, and from there to Ermanno Scervino, where they run into the designer himself. “It’s a fantastic event, a celebration of fashion. I think it’s right that for one day fashion designers have direct contact with the public,”the designer tells FashionTV of Fashion’s Night Out. He poses with Milanese fashion blogger Veronica Ferraro, who’s wearing a bold fuchsia shift. Ferraro shows off the limited-edition T-shirt on sale.
