Not sure if the models of Thakoon’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection runway for New York Fashion Week are too happy about getting their hair painted blue, orange, purple or pink, but it’s what the designer wants for his animated Indian cowboy inspired show. Odile Gilbert, runway hairstylist explains the look. “What we’re doing is bringing a lot of colors into the hair, for the collection.” When the girls are done, Odile and her team will make sure to wash all the color out and they will use Kerastase to treat the hair and get all the color out.
