On Monday, a federal immigration agent fatally shot 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine. DHS says Guerrero, who was legally authorized to work in the United States, tried to flee the scene after he was pulled over. State and local police are investigating the shooting, but local politicians fear federal authorities could try to block the state from key evidence and information. The incident comes just days after the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo at the hands of an ICE agent in Houston. Joe calls the string of violence against immigrants “wildly out of control.”

BREAKING: Judge slams President Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS over his leaked tax returns, saying it was an attempt to grant him immunity and legitimize the $1.776B “anti-weaponization fund.”

A spokesperson for Trump’s legal team said the IRS “wrongly allowed a rogue, politically-motivated employee to leak private and confidential information” to news outlets, adding that “President Trump continues to hold those who wrong America and Americans accountable.”
