Binance and CEO Plead Guilty to Numerous Charges
Binance Holdings Ltd. and its Chief Executive Officer Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to criminal charges for anti-money laundering and violating US sanctions. Binance will pay over $4 billion in penalties. Zhao will step down. Attorney General Merrick Garland speaks in Washington.

Canadian officials said Tuesday they would match new tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump “dollar-for-dollar, rate-for-rate.” Canada will double its existing counter-tariffs on US steel and aluminum to 50% and levy new 15% to 50% tariffs on about $20 million worth of American products.

Good that they were caught and found guilty, but the penalty (4.3 billion USD) is insignificant relative to their net worth!
Why do large corporations do whatever they feel like and get away with it with a slap on the wrist?!
I feel that these penalties should be some percent of their market value… make these asshole corporations pay some of the US national debt & help out for a change!!
