    If we could get Joe manchin and Kyrstin Sinema to get on board with the other Democrats they could pass that act and we wouldn't have to worry about these Republicans changing laws so people couldn't vote. Republicans can't win a real race that's why they are trying to cheat so let's get Mansion onboard and Sibema and let's get this thing done

    Why do Dem's take a starting position in negotiations with Reb's who state their position clearly stated no on everything with opening salvo is we will relinquish ground as opposed to we will try to negotiate but if you are unreasonable nothing off the table. We tried you lost. The Vast majority of the people got what they wanted. Deal with it. Quit bringing nerf bats to a knife fight.

The Wall Street Journal has a new two-part feature detailing what it describes as Europe’s ‘rupture’ with the United States following this week’s NATO Summit in Turkey. The Journal reports that President Trump’s tariff’s and threats to take Greenland has sparked a quote, “rebellion” amongst European leaders who are now drawing limits on so-called “flattery diplomacy.” The paper reports many leaders now view autonomy as the long-term goal,. Rather than a temporary measure, adding that even if leadership changes the era of relying on America so heavily had ended. The reporters behind the story join Morning Joe to discuss the ground-breaking revelations.

Trump’s DOJ subpoenas NYT journalists over Air Force One story

The Trump administration issued subpoenas on Friday to several journalists for The New York Times, after the paper reported on security concerns involving President Trump’s new Qatari-donated Air Force One. In some cases, the subpoenas were delivered by federal agents who showed up at reporters’ homes. The subpoenas seek to force the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan on Wednesday, and are an extraordinary escalation in President Trump’s efforts to threaten and intimidate independent news organizations. NYT Investigative reporter Michael Schmidt joins Morning Joe with more on this developing story.
