    This doesn't include everything including the fact that a majority of Israeli's from predominantly Arab and Muslim countries fled those countries to Israel as a result of religious persecution in those countries by the Muslim majority. Christians in many of those nations were also fleeing as a result of religious persecution. In summary, a majority of Israel is comprised of Jews that are actually from the middle east and NOT Europe and about 20% of Israel has Arabs–some of whom are Christian and some are Muslim living peacefully together. For this reason, there is no apartheid because an apartheid exists as a result of discrimination but there are already Arab Muslims living peacefully in Israel with 10 of them as part of the Israeli Parliment called the Knesset.

    Prof Norman Finkelstein has studied this conflict for 40+ years and written numerous books and papers on this matter and you reduce the tragedy that has befallen the Palestinian nation to 2 minutes. Shame on you. The Palestinians were brutally ethnically cleaned from what is now Israel. The Gaza strip has been blockaded by Israel since Hamas won a free and fair elections in 2006 as attested to by President Carter who was an official observer. The blockade is brutal and amounts to living in an open air prison (per PM David Cameron) or more appropriately as the largest ever concentration camp. The idea was always to dehumanize and humiliate the Palestinian nation (putting the Palestinians in Gaza on a starvation+ diet). Now the Israeli strategy seems genocidal. Required reading – Prof Norman Finkelstein – Gaza: An Inquest into its Martyrdom, Prof Ilan Pappe – The Ethnic Cleaning of Palestine and don't forget Prof Noam Chomsky. Americans please wake up to the facts. As Gore Vidal said "We are the United States of Amnesia, we learn nothing because we remember nothing". I would add that we also "read nothing" and are wholly dependent on mainstream media for information which is mostly one sided.

    I humbly suggest you do your research. Research based on historical facts. 80 percent of the adult Gazan population voted Hamas into power. Israel pulled all of its citizens out of Gaza in 2005. There has not been any Israeli presence in Gaza since that time. If there is any oppression of the Gazan population it is due to Hamas' presence. I pray for the innocent people and children throughout the world. Truth is truth and propoganda is propoganda regardless of the speaker. God bless
