BREAKING: Texas Supreme Court blocks decision to allow woman’s emergency abortion
The Texas Supreme Court agreed to pause a lower court ruling that would have allowed a pregnant woman, Kate Cox, to receive an emergency abortion. NBC News’ Julie Tsirkin reports on the Texas attorney general’s reaction to the case and the health complications that faces Cox, whose fetus is unlikely to survive.

Well just heard about it on the news this morning in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I said to myself I was wondering how long is going to take her and her husband to get a clue 🤔 I said from day one go to another state that can do it, because she's sitting her State she going to die , I kept saying if you sit around and wait for the people in your state you ain't going to make it another month, so I'm very happy that her and her husband put their thinking caps on and said let's get out of here 🎉

Apparently, according to Ken Paxton, they are only pro life for infants. They cannot take care of themselves. The people who are already alive the grieving, mother, and father and siblings their lives do not matter. If the mother dies because of complications, apparently her life didn’t matter and watching that infant suffer after it is born and watching it, die is unnecessarily cruel. I wish this pain on no one and women will not stop until we have equal rights hear us roar

It would be hard to overstate how furious this situation makes me. Ken Paxton, who was recently on the cusp of being impeached, is a horrible excuse for a human being. I wonder if Ms Cox was his wife or daughter if he would take the same action? Politics have NO PLACE in an individual woman’s pregnancy. It’s a health issue for Ms Cox. I’m so upset on her behalf.
