The event, which was held at Cipriani Wall Street, brought a star-studded crowd dressed by top designers (mainly Cavalli) to honor the designer and to raise money for AIDS research and education. TV actress and model Hofit Golan got the scoop on the best of the best for FashionTV. Golan, wearing Dsquared2, interviews model Jessica White, producer Mohammad Al Turki, and actor Stanley Tucci, who wears Kenneth Cole. “It’s an incredible organization,” he says referring to amfAR which is led by designer Cole. She also gets to chat with the incredibly fashionable Michelle Harper, a philanthropist and business woman who has appeared in countless fashion publications for her unique style. In a stray from the masses wearing Cavalli, model Joan Smalls wears Givenchy. Finally, Golan scores an interview with Michael Lillelund, the man behind Shamballa jewelry, a favorite of Jay-Z and Karl Lagerfeld.

Admire 3D-printed exoskeletons and archival revivals of Gaultier’s iconic silhouette on FashionTV!

For his inaugural Haute Couture collection for Jean Paul Gaultier, Duran Lantink stages a thrilling collision between historic majesty and futuristic innovation. The collection titled “Tech Couture” functions as an experimental laboratory where traditional atelier craftsmanship meets cutting-edge technology. Built on 3D-printed flexible TPU and PA12 exoskeletons, the garments push silhouettes to their absolute sculptural limits.

Shoulders swell into steroidal proportions, crinolines transform into architectural conduits for cascading tulle, and the iconic Gaultier cone bra migrates across the body as sharp, thorn-like protrusions. Rooted in a subtle, subverted fantasy of eighteenth-century Versailles, the collection references Marie Antoinette through microbead embroideries, capri breeches, and monumental court volumes, deliberately embracing the absurd luxury of dysfunction.

Rich shades of iconic Gaultier burgundy, bleu de Roy, and flamant rose intertwine with house history, breathing new life into archived 2002 fabrics and reconstructed biker jackets, all anchored by Dutch Zeeuwse Knopen filigree jewelry. By blending 3D-printed precision with the unmatched mastery of the Gaultier ateliers, Lantink challenges the classic frontal gaze, presenting a dynamic, three-dimensional reality where the impossible becomes possible.

While Makeup Artist says the clothes from Murad were inspired by the 80s, she said she didn’t want to go 80s with makeup and the hair, too. “We wanted something a bit delicate, I would say. So couture but not too much,” she says of the makeup look which doesn’t look a bright lip. French model Constance Jablonski, who’s walking in the show, says she adores designer Zuhair Murad. “He’s so so nice,” she says. “It’s a beautiful, sexy show with all evening dresses.” Model Sasha agrees, “He seems like he really loves women.”
