Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.
A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.
The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.
CNN’s Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNN’s Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakers’ reactions to Sen. McConnell’s medical situation.

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Sunday announced, after weeks of speculation, that he had a fall last month that landed him in the hospital.
McConnell also provided a photo showing him smiling next to his wife, Elaine Chao. He appears to have a copy of Sunday’s Washington Post sports section on his lap.

Blinken is sitting on a powder keg and lit the fuse:
(1) Blunder 1: I have no problem with supporting Ukraine, but I see no effort, on his part, to make depleted uranium munitions universally banned in the Geneva Conventions. I would prefer not to buy tainted wheat or see Gulf Syndrome around the world.
(2) Blunder 2: I see support for Morocco, but none for the Sahrawi who are still waiting for that UN referendum that was promised.
(3) Blunder 3: I see support for Kosovo Disaster Colonialism leading back to Serbian hegemony over Kosovo(and perhaps the entire Western Balkans) and sanctions against Kosovo for trying to fight OCGs(like Radoicic, Veselinovic & crew with links to Belgrade), but no concrete steps in convincing the five EU countries (Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Spain) or even Ukraine to support Kosovo sovereignty. In the past 15 years, I see no concrete steps that the US or EU is trying to either get Kosovo into the EU or lobbying the UN to extend resolution 1541 to allow an exception for the "saltwater rule". All one hears is compromise and Kosovo concessions for Serbian demands and little or nothing of mutual recognition. Apparently, for Blinken, this is off the table,… so consider whether you really want to reap the whirlwind forthcoming in the Balkans and spreading across the world. Zelensky is a disappointment in that he fights for principle in his Ukraine, but disavows it for Kosovo, implicitly supporting Vucic.
